|
|
From what I can see the 'Alien Employment Licence' is valid for 6 months when issued. However I'm unsure about how long the 'invitation letter' is valid for. I've heard 3 months but nobody seems certain. Does anyone know for sure how long the invitation letter is valid for?
I'm hoping to land a job and get the employment licence before going travelling in South America for 3 months. Then upon returning I could apply for my Z visa while the licence is still valid. Hopefully the invitation validity doesn't screw this plan up.
Thanks! |

It's the work permit/work license that employers apply for and employees need in order to get their Z visa. Once employers have this they can apply for the invitation letter.
I guess 'Alien employment Licence' is the official name for work permit! |

FEC is usually issued to teachers. AEL is usually issued to people working in other types of positions. Both pretty much are the same exact thing, and one or the other is needed for your residence permit. |
