This is a legitimate school with good staff.

Their centers in Tianjin are busy with classes for children. They employ about ten or so foreign teachers. I have spoke with a teacher here that knows people there.

If you like working with children, it's a good position. Lessons are ppts that are delivered on a smart board that the kids can interact with. You always have a Chinese TA in the classroom with you to help translate when needed, and to facilitate bathroom breaks for the kids and such, making your life easy Wink You will be more successful if you have a sense of humor and can also entertain the kids in the classes.

Pay is decent (or was) and housing allowance or an apartment is provided, as well as airfare for a year contract, etc. The school housing is not terrible nor great, so getting your own may be better.

This person did tell me that some teachers might be leaving after their current contract because the company was putting forward a new contract with more hours, less money, or some combination thereof. Sad, as salaries are not keeping up with inflation here, and in fact may be deflating.

That having been said, you can rest assured that the school is solid, and you will get whatever they are offering in the contract. If you have any specific questions, you can pm me, or ask it here, and I'll make a point to call that person, on your behalf, who knows the situation directly. I'm sure the school will put you in touch with some teachers there too if you wish...again, they are not a scam outfit so no worries there.
