I understand what he meant santi84. There has been a few jobs I didn't get due to school policy that all teachers must have a BA. I have equivalent though. Sometimes a country or a school would have policies that are black & white with no shades of grey.

Thanks tttompatz for the info. The world is big & there's always more than one way to achieve something. For example if you need to get to the top floor there's the stairs, the elevator & the escalator. In terms of education there is Technical vocational training that weighs in as equivalent. The UK has recognised my qualifications in the past.

I'm considering the IBET it looks like the best option for me.

Well, I admire your attitude Yogita. Admittedly, there will be some countries whose hurdles will be insurmountable for you (such as Korea), but there are other places where many shades of grey exist, Indonesia being one of them.

There has been much hullabaloo of late here that one must have an English degree to be able to teach here, and whilst it's undeniably had an effect in certain teaching circles (particularly private language schools) it has been business as usual elsewhere. I know guys without degrees earning $2000+ a month in low-tier international schools who have work visas, yet if they'd listened to the doom-mongerers they'd have packed up and gone home months ago.

Of course, posters were right in pointing out potential pitfalls to you, but I think you're already well aware of those - good luck to you!

Thanks Tudor, yes if you don't try then you've already failed.
There's never one way, or a single route & there will always be exceptions. I'm interested in the Middle East & some parts of Latin America. I'm not keen on Asia actually. Although I would like to live in India for a bit.

Dear santi84, thanks again for the info. yes I did notice it. Cool
