B.A. in English literature (1996)
M.Ed. in TESOL (2001)
B.A. in Spanish with a minor in French (2005)
M.A. in Spanish (Latin American literature) (2012)
All degrees obtained from accredited state universities and all were done in classroom, not via distance learning.
Experience since M.Ed. TESOL:
December 2001 to June 2003: a private language school in Paris
Autumn of 2003: ESL for a community college in Chicago
Spring of 2007: English and Spanish teacher for a charter school (part time)
July 2007 - May 2008: secondary school teacher of Spanish
August 2008 - May 2012: instructor of modern languages at a public university in the American SW.
August 2011 - Summer 2012: adjunct instructor of ESL and English for a community college. |

Hi Ted I'm on that now - though it is my 2nd year of contract coming up and not in the best paying place in Saudi, some of the good ones pay a lot more than 4k a month so I've heard. I'm I.T. but the ESL teachers here are on the same and more for some who've been here longer. I do wonder if the cash is worth the cost to my sanity tho  |

Yea, I think 4,000 USD a month (48,000 a year) would be a good average to look for. I make a little more, but it's a good place to start. |
