I got denied. How funny. Those interview questions over the phone were horrible..."What is your best contribution to teaching?" Say what? Oh well, probably for the best.

regarding the gym: i asked when working for Westgate and was permitted to use the university gym if I filled in the application forms and paid a nominal fee (2000Yen). The only issue was that the gym closed not long after my shift finished (7pm) meaning there was no time to use it.

Breaks at Westgate are typically one or two 40 minute periods at a time, and as such there is no time to use a gym.

Paul is right about the contracts - after you finish there is a significant gap before any other Westgate contracts might start. You're better off using your breaks to search the net for another job.

paulh: In academic circles it is generally considered disreputable to employ selective quotation in such a manner as to pervert the meaning of the original.

Did I miswrite my post, or is it unworthy of proper consideration.

In other words: Did you find it illegible, or inelegible , or were you just paying insufficient attention?

must away, 2nd half about to kick off!

Looks like "us guys" can read, write and point out each others typos in a manner far too subtle for your radar, or perhaps you only had it on standby! Wink

still can't get the hang of this tool use thingy though, guess I'd better climb back up my tree and peel some more bananas!

Oh, and I'm not a Cant, however you choose to spell it!

Seems that you will be precluded from babysitting if you cannot read - or you cannot be read by others.

I've always simply assumed that babysitters can read - otherwise, how do they manage to reply to the ads? Cool

I went to the trouble of writing it correctly for you and you still spell it wrong.

I found it totally unallegeable.

Do you mean to say that you can't count either!

Let me help you out here. It seems that you are not up to playing in this league.

Straight from the kick off, the Ph boys find themselves completely misunderstanding the complexity and subtlety of the nosheepers play and their foolish and misguided attack leads to them conceding the own goal of the season!

Nosheep...1

A moments inattention leads to the sns conceding a sloppy equaliser with inelegible.

But wait! Almost immediately the acid testers concede an equally sloppy Cant

Nosheep...2

"The crowd are on the pitch. They think it's all over. It is now!"

But in the matter of tendentious selective quotation:

Paulh you are the master!

No Team, us babysitters have only to be able to read of course. Teaching others to read is one of our many duties. If the babies could already read they would have no need of us to teach them!

Simple really, n'est pas? Wink

Congrats to Deane who gave us the change to get to the Premiership in the first place. He must be one happy lad right now.

Now watch as we get our butt plucked next season and plummet once more...same old story.
