In response to Fortigurn's question about teaching, brian said to beware of the infamous Jenny Wu, a recruiter with a bad name that could be found by doing a search on any recruiting site.
However, I am apparently not good at searching or I am not searching the right sites.
Please tell me what is wrong with Jenny Wu's recruiting. There are many, many Job Information Journals on Taiwan and I can't find references to her infamies in any of them.
Thanks very much. |

I suspect the person has long since changed their name. There used to be someone affiliated with Jordan's Language school who used that alias. A common tactic of recruiters is to use multiple aliases and simply change names when the way they do business catches up with them.
If you really want to know if a recruiter is trustworthy ask to see their ID card and copy their name and Id number.
There is a very large recruitment agency in Taiwan run by a recruiter named Jenny Lai (Lin?).
Her rates are half of your salary deducted directly from your pay.
Please stay away from recruiters if you have any other options.
Good luck,
