I can second that. Amideast's operations in Sanaa and Aden are still operating. I taught there 2009-2010 and still maintain contact with Yemenis and expats associated with the institute. They've kept their doors open in the face of the Arab Spring events.

I recommend Amideast in Yemen as a workplace. You won't get rich, but you will be rewarded with an unforgettable, unique experience.
