Heard from the grapevine that the Sasquatch is resigning and wont be around to leave his large footprints in the sand any longer. If there is anything to this rumor, maybe some of the deportees will try to return to their "rightful" appointments....

For the life of me, I can't figure out why anybody would take that job. It's twice the hours and ten times the headaches than a teacher, and the pay is essentially the same.

Give him credit for lasting as long as he did.

I understand the the Director has agreed to nstay for a while so that the university can find a suitable replacement. Problem is that most people who nbWANT to do it are totally unsuitable. As PP says in a post here, it does not pay much more than a classroom teacher, so why do it ?

"The Director of PYP has asked to leave."

Isn't a resignation a simple declarative sentence?

Or should that be has been asked?
