Hi guys. I have a private class starting soon with two students. One of them is grade 4 and the other is Grade 6.
I wondered if any of you guys who have experience teaching privates could suggest some decent activities/games for only two students.
I have lots of games/activities in my portfolio but not many are appropraite for only two kids!
Any help would be gratefully received, and I will report back to let you know how the classes go if you are interested |

I use a combination of computer stuff with handouts or simply have them write on blank piece of paper. |

Use word puzzles for vocabulary and fill-in-the-blank for grammar. Make two copies and make every activity a race. They love to compete one on one even though they wind up helping each other out. Most of the time it will turn into a joint exercise and they coach each other.
I prefer two students as it's easier to have them play off each other. Three gives you an odd man out and four or more gets unwieldy with differing levels/personalities. |
