No doubt as in the exit of past outgoing administrations, officials will be busy into the wee hours misplacing documents in paper shredders and leftover funds into personal accounts -
I'm not sure why the BBC chose these 6 moments, or why only 6.
Any comments as to the general mood of the people in your area on this auspicious / inauspicious eve?

Odd choice of 6 moments...of course there are so many to choose from.
That Estela de Luz thing? Really?
If I had to pick one thing, it would be the reformation of the legal system in moving to oral trials and enshrining the principal of 'innocent before proven guilty'. That is a generational project with effects that won't be felt for awhile yet.
How about losing two cabinet ministers in plane crashes? |

Work up at 4 am to the sound of protests. Living half a mile from the site of the imposition of Este Pendejo Narcisista, it is going to be an interesting day. Yesterday was wild, with protestors all over San Lazaro. I think at this point people are more interested in the future than the past, I suspect Calderon will go down in history as one of the BETTER presidents, compared to what is coming. |
