What are ESL jobs like in Latin America? Are they mostly English conversation or are they full CELTA type teaching (four skills, grammar etc)?
My quals aren't that good BA(history), trinity tesol, two years teaching up to high school age in E.Asia and another year teaching mostly adults general English in SE Asia. I am a qualified solicitor in UK don't know if that would help. What would the job market be like for me for unis in LA?
Also any idea on pay, I'd just want enough to get by, I am looking for quality teaching experience primarily, EAP, exam prep etc. |
