Hello everyone, my name is Steve and recently I started up my own English school in Osaka. I have been trying to figure out how to gather more students and even partnered with a Japanese company to try and get more exposure. I would like to know what everyone else's experiences are with these sorts of entrepreneurial business practices in Japan.
We produced a commercial and also a documentary about our school which can be viewed here. Please let me know your thoughts. Thank you. |

Location, location, location is what advertisers will tell you (or marketers). If your location itself is not good, advertising will not be of much help.
Advertise in newspapers, supermarket boards, information centers, etc.
Stuff mailboxes with flyers in the surrounding area.
Hand out flyers in train or bus stations nearby. If people aren't able to get to you with their own car, they will have to walk from those places.
Create a Facebook page with keywords that are bound to attract searches. |
