I'll second that - Paul has been very helpful.
If any of you have had direct dealings with Al Falak I'd like to hear from you.

I am in the process of getting an offer for Aramco via their Contractor JAL International. Does anyone know about them or any feedback?
Thanks |

I am not with JAL, but I am in the US for the next week or so. Send me your phone number via message if you would like to talk. |

If anyone has an idea of the direct hire salary range, would be grateful for a pm.
I tried to send some pms recently and they just stay in the outbox. No idea why!
Thanks |

Dear egyptfan,
All PMs stay in the Outbox until opened by the recipient. Then, they go to the Sent box.
I'm not naive and I know what recruiters are like....but I get the feeling they hire Americans first and later Brits.
I'm on a rotation again now and they're a lot better for your health than those long stints in Saudi
Shame really the deal looked really feckin good!!
Yeah, better off out of it. ARAMCO=total rubbish. At least, working for recruiters is rubbish. As for direct hire...chasing a rainbow unless you're US teacher-qualified. They want people who have internalized US corporate values all the way down the line. |

Really? Our last person raised to the exalted position of Aramcon was a Sudanese.
Why would someone work for a recruiter? Aramco sets the pay, the holidays and the benefits. Your contractor is the little guy who runs and makes sure your ID card is up to date. They work for us. |

Paul, it seems like you have found yourself in a much less DIFAcult position.
Kudos are in order, sir! |

little word of advice... if the offer is not what you were expecting either reject it or counter offer way above what you want to settle on. They are DESPERATE for teachers here and will not want to let you go until you have signed. PM me with more questions if you hvae them |

FYI: Aramco is direct hiring again. Apply at their website, be prepared to wait a year. |

And make sure that you have zero health issues... they can really be picky about that (and your credentials and experience). So don't waste your time if say... you have borderline diabetes or high blood pressure.
