| Well, Freddie, since your other thread about whether anyone likes you doesn't seem to be going anywhere, let me just say that even though I don't like you, I am willing to like you a teeny weeny little bit if you pay me 10% of the money you save every month. Then you can say you have a friend. Is that a good deal or what? |

Well, this is very interesting. I guess to some people money is more important than happiness. But who am I to be idealistic, especially on a forum where people say things to get others riled.
However, I wonder how many NETs are here just for the joy of teaching and helping kids instead of all that money. Where or where will all of these teachers go when the scheme is cut, and eventually it will be... There's only so much money that the gov't has got and there isn't enough of a tax base to support all the civil servants that they have let alone continuing to pay NETs the sums of money that they are getting, no matter how valuable they are.
BTW, I believe NETs are valuable, but there is often criticism of the scheme, especially in the Chinese press. |

Yes Andy, I say things to get posters to get riled up.
Honestly, I want to volunteer with the less privliged but the pay just isn't there. |

| Of course you could get a second paycheck, but then you would be breeching your contract with the EMB. But if you volunteer, I'm sure the EMB will give you permission. |
