Dear Sasha,
"What about all those American colleagues of mine who state, forcefully, that there is no Present Perfect in American English?"
That's why we sent them to Russia. You think the Cold War is REALLY over, Comrade?

Dear Johnslat
Aha! Potential 'dirty bombs', eh?!
Well, they certainly do 'bomb' in class..., and some of them do tend to be rather a touch dirty. But even so, not the most effective strategy sending them here. We just pack them off East. Plenty of space in the Siberian mines - they are getting bigger all the time!!
Regards

I like the Chinese and Russian ladies much more. At least they're both somewhat creative with it - as D-M points out, they're competing with fluffy kittens and Psi for the video audience, and a little entertainment's probably appropriate for the medium. |
Here she is again - a teacher after my own heart. Hic!

So anyone brave enough to make their own video and post it? Perhaps your own take on a grammar point (Sasha / Fluffy, Id love to see your take on such things), or perhaps your own version of the 'interesting to look at' type instruction video?
Id even settle for a clip of you in class teaching.
As very much the 'junior' in terms of experience / qualifications / skills, I feel I've learnt lots from people on this forum and Id love to take that a step further and see you teach too. |

I'd guess that many of us will prefer to maintain a level of anonymity that posting a video of our teaching would violate.
For me, I picked up a stalker from Dave's long ago (no fault of the forum!) and have since been much more careful about the amount of personal info I'll post here. |

I believe you'd likely also need a signed permission release from any students in the video, at least in some countries.

| I opened the clip expecting a vodka drinking type video, but the Stalin speech was equally inspiring. Whilst I accept and understand the reasons for not posting something (and note I haven't offered to do so either ... yet!) it's a shame and to some degree I have to s | |
