Just had a report that the tourist areas of HCMC are only doing 2 million at a time. Not sure how many places she tried, but she was going off the report that had been posted here about TCB on PNL and her report was 2 mil max. There may still be a few that will let you have more, but everything I am seeing and hearing is that this is a problem now for almost anyone who is used to getting larger amounts from his foreign bank accounts using ATM's here. I am probably going to start getting my western incomes sent over by western union or some kind of direct deposit into my VN account.

update: she said she tried multiple machines on PNL in HCMC, including the TCB machine, 2 mil is the limit. Looks to me like this is going to be what we encounter almost everywhere, if anyone has firm info on any machines in HN or HCMC that crank out reasonable amounts of money, do tell. This is very mickey mouse, to expect the foreigner to be able to traipse around on a 2 mil VND limit.
