The BBC World TV channel is vey widely available as a
free-to-air channel.
"BBC World News is the BBC's international 24-hour news and information channel, broadcast in English in more than 200 countries and territories across the globe.
Its estimated weekly audience of 74 million makes it the BBC's biggest television service."
In contrast, "Currently BBC iPlayer TV programmes are available to play in the UK only, but all BBC iPlayer Radio programmes are available to you."
according to the BBC iPlayer website at:-
http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/tv/bbc_one_london/watchlive
However, there are options...and the BBC's current iPlayer policy is under pressure.
For example, I know of at least one website that offers access to -
BBC1, BBC2, BBC 3, BBC 4, BBC News, BBC Parliament, BBC HD;
and , last but not least, CeeBeebies,
online for free:-
www.filmon.com
..not to mentiuon Bikini TV and Fox News, too!
Anyway, returning to the purpose of this thread's OP;
here is a link to a trailer for Frank Gardner's documentary:-

For an earlier documentary, "Inside the Saudi Kingdom",
the BBC managed to gain good access to the Governor of Ha'il province, Prince Saud and his work, including the majlis.
There was an official from the Ministry of Information alongside, as well as an armed guard, throughout the filming.

BTW, Is Saudi Arabia really "the size of Europe" as stated at [6:00]?!
No, Europe is more than four times the size of Saudi Arabia.

May be the presenter meant the Western Europe (excluding the newly joined Eastern European countries). But still the area of western Europe is twice the area of the Magic Kingdom.
It seems his Geography knowledge is not as good as his presentation! |

The regular reports on developments in Saudi Arabia
on the BBC News website are generally more reliable, I suspect,
than the comparisons drawn during the BBC documentaries
concerning the relative sizes of Saudi Arabia and Europe.
Here, as an example of one of those reports,
is a link to an informative piece about the new Interior Minister,
Prince Mohammed bin Nayef, who is in line for the throne...
