Hi everyone,

I've just recently started working at RMIT in Saigon and I've just heard that there is also a RMIT center in Bangkok. Just wondering if anyone here has any information about it. What is it like to work for, pay and conditions etc.? If you have anything to add it would be great to hear from you Smile. Many thanks.

RMIT in Bangkok offers a work permit to anyone with a degree and a TEFL certificate, but they do not offer a salary.

So if very busy, and you want to work 7 days a week- you could get 50,000 plus, however, if no work is available, you'll get 15,000 per month.
On average, for 100 hours + a month, it is 30-40,000 baht.

Pay per 50 minute class is
350 baht for General English
400 baht for Academic English, IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC, etc.

50 baht per period extra at weekends.

RMIT Vietnam is the campus of RMIT university, but RMIT Bangkok is a language school, so the pay is lower.

If you need more info, message me.
