I have heard that if you get a Seven Bank card, you can wire money to your country directly at bank machines and the fee is on the lower end of bank fees 2,500 yen. No more filling out forms and waiting 30 minutes every time at the JP Post Bank.

| No, but have you looked into GoRemit? You just take your card to the ATM and push a few buttons. They'll send the cash out (usually same day, if you're early enough) and the fee is only 2,000. |
