Have seen the ad (on BALEAP) for EAP teachers at Ningbo and would like to know what's the net pay after tax/deductions? Isn't the rate of income tax at 40-45% for salaries of around 330k renminbi? What kind of accommodation allowance do you get? In short, what do you come out with at the end of the month?

I don't work there, but the tax rate is progressive. So the top rate is only paid for the amount above a certain threshold.
At ~18K you pay 2-3K. At ~31K you pay about 5.5K. Something like that. Exact calculations can be googled. |

| thanks for the info - I did google the tax but not sure how a nott/ningbo is classed (overseas or local hire etc). asked their info contact but the guy never wrote back... |
