Haven't seen anything posts on this subject yet - is it possible to study French in Vietnam while teaching? Are there areas (maybe Hanoi?) with a higher population of French speakers?
I'm not sure how popular French study/ language is in Vietnam or if it is realistic while there. |

Thanks for the link. Anyone else heard of any schools in vietnam? There seems to be francophones in Vietnam and I was able to find some info in French, but I haven't heard of anyone studying french there. It does seem that it's possible to study French there, but there is no established community there for studying mid-level French as an English speaker. |

You can go to Espace which is in Hoan Kiem dist. of Hanoi. That's the equivalent of the British Council for France I think. They have a really nice place there with a theatre and a modern building. Can't remember the address but it's probably easy to find. |

Thanks - looks like all the info is in vietnamese and french. LOL. I may have to contact a university or something over there to get more info. Anyways I imagine most of the market is for vietnamese people learning french, which makes sense, since why would you wanna set up a school for expats let alone one for a non-primary language. Will have to think if this is feasible or not. |
