What's the alternative? This strain is currently the most deadly to humans but more difficult to contract. So you'd rather walk around knowing you have H7N9 and drop dead in the street, or face quarantine in a Chinese hospital that probably isn't THAT bad since you can bring your computer and such, and they'll probably treat you better since you're a foreigner.

Quarantine, or you can chill at your place and probably die. You won't be going home, that's for sure.

During SARS a US Embassy or Consultant official came by and spoke to the citizens....and told us that if we were to go back to the states and the detection of the virus was present, we would be quarantine at your own expense.

Always some nonsense, made up "pandemic" every single year.

I'll be scared when smallpox makes a comeback.
