At UAEU we have received the dates for the fall semester finals. It is the first week of February 2014.... which is one week later than it was this year.
I expected the calendar to move up as Ramadan has moved up. With finals now in February and the spring semester starting after a week break it means the federal institutions will be going until July 1, 2014. In other words, finals for the spring semester will hit Ramadan 2014.
This just doesn't make sense. Any insight from anyone? |

| Now we have schedules showing the semester will start September 1, instead of September 8. This does make some sense but it would be great if we could get an official notice. Anyone hearing anything about the 2013-14 calendar? |
