Hi!
I am currently in Kazakhstan (great country!), but I'm leaving for Russia. Does anybody know if I can get my Russian visa in Astana or in Almaty? What documents do I need? Thanks!!!!!!!!!! |

I'm not there now, but have friends who've done it in Almaty. So yes, unless things have changed in the last year (entirely possible!)
Basically need to sort out a hotel to give you an invitation. Once the visa is issued, you can then cancel the hotel - many hotels and agents are happy to work with you on this for a fee. That's what I did a couple of years ago in order to visit friends.
