Hi All,

I wanted to know what my job prospects in Turkey would be. By August I will have 15 credits completed towards my Virginia ESL teaching license and will be 9 credits short of the license. My 9 credits are online so I am looking for an overseas position School Year 2013-2014.

I have two years teaching experience in Peace Corps/Cape Verde, West Africa and have been working for the last 4 months as a Special Education Teaching Assistant. I have past work experience (6 months) volunteer teaching ESL to refugees.

What are my chances of finding a job without completing CELTA or TEFL, etc? It seems like a waste of money to do it now since I'll be earning my ESL license soon. Would my current status work with Teach to Travel? Can anyone recommend a school that might accept my qualifications?

Any prospects in Turkey? (I'm also thinking about Morocco or Spain)

Thanks!

No legal prospects that I know of .. the bare min for a work permit for a run of the mill job is a degree and TEFL cert.

As far as I know, the authorities will reject any application that doesn't meet the basic requirements.
