I have my first teaching interview next week with english2go over Skype and I am very excited but also very nervous. Does anyone have experience interviewing with this company? Any advice/tips on what to be prepared for would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

They'll want to know about your experience in ESL/EFL (if any) and they will want to know how long you can stay in a position...the longer you can say you are available to stay, the better as they don't like to have people come and go after weeks or a few short months.

They are nice people to work with....be prepared for a less formal interview than you may be expecting.

Make sure you're brushed up on your grammar. He is going to ask you various grammar questions and he gives you a few seconds to answer. The interview is pretty informal. There wasn't even video for mine, so it was even less formal than I expected. It's a teaching position that you are going to have to travel to your students. They teach at businesses, I believe.

Ive heard great things about English 2 Go. You have TO GO to the classes, but that's part of the ESL game.

From my experience with them, they seemed to be very unorganized though and I have talked with another person who dealt with them and they said the same exact thing. They offered a job to this person and upon arriving to Costa Rica, only to find out that there was no longer a position. They didn't even have the decency to tell them that they had filled the position. Very unprofessional, in my opinion. The people at English 2 Go then just proceeded to act like they might be able to give them a job and then just didn't follow through. Although they may be a good school, they seem to be very unorganized. Seeing as I was stood up multiple times for an interview with them and just left waiting for hours on Skype. Like my time wasn´t important. So, my advice would be to find a better organized school and one that actually respects your time and isn't going to just yank your chain. There are better schools to work for in the San Jose area.
