Hello,
New to UAE forum.
Had a bizarre experience today - thought I was being interviewed for Al Rowdah Academy Preparatory Year Program, but it was a technical school - ie wanted secondary school teachers. Hoping this is a one-off snafu - but has anyone else had a RECENT similar experience?..... |

No, because they were looking for high school EFL/English Language Teacher, and needed someone with teaching certification. The school was a technical school, run by IAT, who also run Al Rowdah Academies
I teach in PYPs/University undergrad and post-grad pre-sessional school, for which you do not need teaching certification, but CELTA and above.....my work is often labelled as instructor OR teacher....that is, Al Rowdah

I have tried to Google their website but I can't find anything.
I have a hunch that it may be under the IAT umbrella ?
It's a program that provides English and study skills to secondary level students.
Has anyone heard of this program or know where to locate their website ? |
