Hi everyone, my partner and I are thinking of moving to Mexico, just turning up and see how it goes workwise. I have dual nationality, Mexican and British- I'm not 100% sure about the recent visa rules though, other than they have been tightened up! Could I sponsor him as we are or would we have to get married? Ideally he would not want to be tied to a specific institution just to get a visa, we'd both like to make a go of it just on privates and using our existing networks (realistic o no?!)
gracias! |

You can register a Union Libre and sponsor him/her that way. But you might want to look into what the entails, it is pretty much the same in terms of marriage and what legal rights your partner has on separation. |
