I've just recently come across a new online course, called 'Masters TEFL.' It's online, but I think that on a CV it could sound pretty solid at first glance, given the prevalence of MA TEFL/TESL holders around these days.
It might be an interesting and useful topic for conversation here; what linguistic tactics are used by cert course providers, and to what degree are the 'fair' or not? |

Another one that springs to mind is Oxford seminars, who are totally unconnected to Oxford university, but presumably are able to use the name to enhance perceived credibility of the course. |
