Hello All,

I was just wondering if either Talisman or MBC are considered MacSchools?

And is 500 roubles per one academic hour ( with the possibility of working 60hrs a month) considered a decent salary.

Thanks in advance for all of your responses.

Sincerely,

RC

500rub is shit, but pretty average for a McSkool.
I would only consider taking such a wage if they'll sort out your visa and provide accommodation. If they don't offer either, ignore them.

Also, you wouldn't want to work 60 hours per month for such a low wage.

I would advise that you work as few hours as you can for that wage and then take privates or work for some of the many companies which offer you over 1000rub per academic hour. Usually these companies don't offer visa or accommodation. So you just use the McSkool for those things and then work the bare minimum there and spend most your time earning 'real' money.

I hope this makes sense. My brain is fried and I don't think I'm all too coherent right now.

So many firms have come and gone over the years in Moscow and elsewhere and using impressive sounding names with British, Royal etc etc. is just a ruse to sound impressive without meaning that the school is anything at all!
500 roubles an hour was very good money in Moscow-about 15 years ago when prices were still often ludicrous but less than nowadays!
There is one firm out in the wilds of Siberia which still recruits people for $1200 per month, the same amount as in the late 1990's and it is run by a Brit. from a certain Rugby loving place westwards with a language that looks unpronunceable! No doubt some people always fall for it!!
