| Can anybody tell me why there hasn't been a post in the class of the hat of Metochites since a lovely man called dmb last passed through here? |

Are you referring to the Kariye Camii in Istanbul?
This represents the patronage of Theodore Metochites, one of Byzantium's greatest intellectuals. He is depicted over the entrance in his big hat. An amazing place. |
