Hi I have been trying to get my medical done for RAFO for 2 months. However x ray appointment at local hospital cancelled twice due to staff shortages. Anyone know of a more efficient way of getting medical completed other than going via one's GP.
Thanks |

Go private; RAFO will refund the cost. After all the bother of organising the medical, don't be surprised if they put you through another one when you arrive. One other thing: no matter how many passport-sized photographs they ask you for, they always require more, so take a couple of dozen. |

Thanks for reply grahamb.
I think you're right
I'll have to find a private doc who can do all the x rays / blood tests |

There is a military photographer on the base, get Steve to take you there, they will knock you out a dozen in 15 mins.
Like everything at RAFO you have to do the thinking yourself.
