yeah a lot of my liking Hirakata was prolly that studying abroad was the best time of my life. But you aren't banished when you live there. Osaka and Kyoto are easily with in reach. By that, because some people here are picky, is that you can go quickly and cheaply there. by that I mean 30-40 mins and for under ¥1000 round trip.

That's not the best way to post among EFL teachers. You need to consider your audience here.

I think you made a good point, however, that you were at a very powerful and impressionable point in your life and so it really wouldn't matter where you were at that time - it was all good.

For someone who has been in Japan for several years, that location would not be appealing.

Men. I don't really care.

As for Hirakata, it is avaergae suburbs. I lived in some fairly rural areas and hirakata was a bit bigger than the nearest big town. It is all relative
