I am an American college student hoping to go to Taiwan (or possibly mainland China, but most likely Taiwan) after I graduate. Some of the schools I've looked at require a copy of your degree with your application. Does that mean I can't apply until I actually have the degree in my hand? Is applying with a BA "to be recieved in june" acceptable? I do realize that many people advise finding a job after you are in Taiwan, so I don't need to hear that, but hypothetically if I wanted to find a job before I left would I have to wait? Thanks for any advice! |

Oh, you should just wait until you.....just kidding.
Perhaps your school could provide a written statement that you have completed all coursework and will be receiving your diploma soon. Another little hitch. Be sure your diploma is written in English. If it's Latin, you may have to have the school provide an official translation as well. |
