I am gonna be in Mex in Jan, was wondering if anyone had some recommendations on some good online sites to get started with teaching English? I will have a CELTA and my undergrad degree by the time I leave.

Thank you muchly!

				| Open English is by far the biggest online teaching outfit to work with...I know haf a dozen teachers scattered around Mexico working with them. And they are expanding... |

...and I think at the last count, there were about 60 of us (oops!) scattered around Mexico as a whole. |

				Thanks for the responses guys!

Really appreciate it.

Had a look at Open English. Unfortunately they stipulate a North American Accent. I'm Australian. There are obviously different degrees of Australian accent and I don't think mine is that strong. Would I still have a chance if I applied or do they just only hire people with North American accents?

				| No problem! I'm British, and we have other British teachers. I have seen a couple of Aussies go through the certification process too. |

Your accent isn't likely to be too much of a problem, but teachers do need to speak either Spanish or Portuguese. Not fluently, but something. Go ahead and apply, what's the worst that can happen. |
