Hi everyone,
This is my first post - lots of great info on here.
Has anyone ever worked with Amideast in Jordan before? I've seen mixed reviews about what it's like to work for them, with particularly bad opinions surrounding the Tunisia office. I've got an interview for the Jordan branch and I have lived in Jordan before, but I'm wondering if this place will be enjoyable to work for and whether it will pay a livable wage.
Thanks. |

Actually as language schools go, AMIDEAST has one of the best reputations over its whole system. Various branches may have issues from time to time if a bad manager gets hired or conditions in the country deteriorate. But generally speaking they are a pretty trustworthy dependable employer.
Hasn't been much talk here about the Jordan branch. I wouldn't expect the pay to be too much more than local survival pay as is typical for language schools. Is it a foreign hire contract with housing? Most people supplement with privates, I expect.
I know that the Morocco branch has had some foreign hire contracts.
