You transfer the technology and someone else makes the millions. No way, dude! This is a big business now in China. I know first hand, overseas firms are lining up for miles to give them programming (called outsourcing for those interested in business and politics) work. That's why these colleges are forming.
You're worth much more if you can teach IT subjects! |

we have teachers from India on our campus who have master degrees and make 8,500 a month in the IT field plus return airfare, free ADSL net services BUT they travel to several other schools daily "on loan." including travel time they work around 30 hours a week. their housing is cramped - 3 teachers to a 2-bedroom flat and last month they were rewarded with washing machines. they think they have a great deal compared to at home in India. no comment - I've never been to India.
and all their classes are taught in English.
they are pleased with their situations.
