Hi all,

I have come across these two schools, Bai Da Wei in Changchun, and Kenneth's English in Jilin. They are both in the Northeast of China, and do a good job of marketing themselves as both reputable and foreign owned schools.

I was just wondering, does anyone have any experience with these schools? Also, does anyone have any experience with other foreign owned schools that are operated well (they don't have to be in the freezing Northeast!!)?

Or are these schools typically as bad, or worse than, the average poorly run Chinese school?

I found this link at the CFTU website which has NOT blacklisted this school but which says it is currently "gray-listed pending investigation".

I think I would want to speak with actual foreign teachers who currently work there and speak with them privately after hours before I would consider working there. Why not hook up with Wall Street or New Oriental?
