I've seen this ad for about 6 months now.
http://www.eslcafe.com/jobs/china/index.cgi?read=30073

Public school, 10-12,000 rmb for the entry level postions. It seems there is a large demand for NET's in the public school system. Are they starting a program similar to EPIK or JET, except municipally? Has anyone pursued this job ad? I'd love to hear from you if you have.

I've seen a fair few positions that seem to offer 15k gross for Shenzhen, so that seems a bit low. It also seems as though the ad is posted by a recruiter, and there's no way I'd send copies of my passport etc to a random email address. So that could be why the ad keeps getting posted over and over...

Never heard of it, but I wouldn't be surprised if Shenzhen wanted a competing program to Japan, etc. This city is full of foreigners. I've seen at least one foreigner every day I've been here.

All e-mail addresses are random until you have established some relationship with said addressee.

You said something that was on topic and accurate and not filled with hate.

+1

I am certainly going to buy you a shake to go with your cheeseburger when we meet!!! I'm so proud of you!!!

...he is right. Even emails that seem to be attached to a university have no meaning at all. blahblahblah.edu means nothing.

Go ahead and send a copy of the passport, just black out part of your name, passport number, and D.O.B
