| don't work here, these guys won't pay you. they have legit visas but you'll get scammed from the moment you walk in the door, overworked and underpaid, taking money off for everything they can [rent deposits, visa fees, made up bullshit you won't get told about before you get there]. the schools are total shitholes that are freezing cold in the winter and falling apart at the seams. each class has 20 kids and they're usually a nightmare with the parents watching your every move. constant criticism, no training, no social life, no help at all. almost everyone i've known who started working there quit as soon as they could and got a better job at EF shenyang. go work at a joy english in harbin, i hear it's much better there. |
