Recruiters... aargh. Rolling Eyes

I know that they are generally not recommended, but alas, i don't think i'll be able to land a job otherwise (no degree, and incapable of getting one, for financial reasons). for those who have dealt with them in the past (or still do), do you have any opinions as to which ones are the lesser nightmare?

You can obtain a TEFL certificate off the internet for cheap and that seems to have a bit of weight in China. Taiwan supposedly employ you illegally as well without a degree.

funny you should mention Taiwan. I was offered a job in Taiwan just yesterday, though of course they never said anything about needing a degree... i think i'll leave that option as a last resort.

thanks for the tip though. i'll look into it.

any other opinions?

Recruiters are not all that bad, as I have mentioned in a previous thread. If you search the board archives, you might come across a few recommendations.

did you try posting your resume on the this website and a few others that allow you to do it for free?
