Hello, ill be arriving in Japan in February on a tourist visa to look for English teaching work and im wondering even if I find a job if its possible ill be able to obtain a work visa by the time my tourist visa expires. How long does the work visa process normally take for someone residing in Japan? Since the school year normally starts in April, and ill be applying for jobs in February, that leaves me a time period of two months in between.

Also, when I'm applying for jobs should I apply only for ones stating visa sponsorship in the description, or just apply for all jobs even the ones saying proper visa required? Im not sure how serious most of these schools are about the visa requirements.
