Hey I was wondering if anyone knows what customs will say if you tell them that you will be taking a bus to Ecuador or boat to Panama out of the country after your tourist visa expires?
Is it possible to fly one way into Colombia at all? How do backpackers do it?
What would work as proof of onward travel? A letter from a captain saying I had booked passage on his boat? |

If you've already got your ticket without proof of leaving, well-done, you're sweet. However, when flying in to Colombia you need to show proof of onward travel to buy the ticket (although, this is only a guideline for airlines and some do sometimes let those rules go). |
