no. 1 tip here is always speak to another foreign teacher who works there , or who used to. If the school can't provide such contacts , walk away. They are hiding something, or are a new school who never employed foreign teachers before (and things are bound to be messy).
And of course , weigh the advice you are given by current or ex-employees.
Do some serious research about the city - Handan is in Hebei right? Ths province does not have a good reputation for anything much: it's industrial , polluted etc . You may love it , but you may end up hating it. |

It's similar to your contract, alexbowler. I get 2 weeks paid holiday in the cold vacations.
If a party fails to perform the contract (or breach of contract), it shall pay the other side $1000 penalty.
If the employee asks to terminate the contract under force majeure events, he should provide ceritifications by relevant dept.
I am prohibited from working elsewhere.....Let's see....subtract 1 month for visa processing and 1 month for Spring Festival and i get a 10 month contract...not too shabby...  |
