HI all,
I have an interview for a job next week paying 150k a month.
Is that a good salary in Phuket as I know it is a tourist place.
Also what is phuket like as a place to live ? is it all hustle and bustle and ripping tourists off etc or could someone live well their for a few years and make good friends etc |

If it's a teaching job, you're not making 150k a month. I would look more closely at the offer. |

It is in an International School in Phuket.
130k + 21k housing.
What is phuket like to live in and is that enough in a holiday place like Phuket ? |

Hello there,
I know many people who would love to earn that kind of money in Bangkok,,,, but in Phuket...that would be fantastic for an EFL teacher...and am sure a lot of teachers would love to have your job in paradise at Baht 150,000/Month. Good luck! |

| Dude, you can live like a king on $5000/month in Thailand. The average salary for a Thai is around 15-20,000/month. I live very comfortably on 70,000 - 80,000/month in BKK. Don't worry, you will be living it up down there in Phuket. |
