It's got the common Vietnamese haze surrounding it but the woman in charge of obtaining work permits basically said that the office has suspended issuing them for a while as it works out how to follow the new rules. This might also mean there's some kinda 'paper' that's not being presented from the company as well but I'm not sure. |

So, they have "suspended" transfers of WPs?
With the Sihanoukville Consulate being closed in Cambodia and the 1-year no longer available, have you heard any teachers saying they are leaving Hanoi or VN?
You can only get a 3-month in PP now. The cost of going to Phnom Penh for a three-month visa is insane. |

I'm not sure. Another friend recently got a work permit after November 1st but it might depend on the company and how they are operating. |
