I might have missedp it, but you can't have a thread about Japan and France without mentioning Paris syndrome
Wonder if that has more to do with the Japanese than the French. |
Well you can't blame the French for being French.
It's like how you have all those articles about Strange Japan. People just believe what they're told usually[/img]
I've met alot of Japanese people here who would absolutely mortified by the levels of hygiene in France, and I'm saying that as someone who only changes his trousers once a week |

| One way that the Japanese are not like the French - in fact the polar opposite is with perfume wearing. |
Now that you mention it, I don't remember smelling any fragrance on people in Japan. I guess that's where the affectation ends. |

I will blame the French any time I get.
Seriously though, I suspect the hygiene is a massive turnoff. As the Japanese really take personal grooming and BO to OCD levels. I bet a lot of these naive Japanese housewives, with only romance books knowledge of France have it the hardest. |

Then there is Paris Syndrome.
I was an exchange student in the south of France. I could only take a bath once a week. I was told to use cologne.
The food and champagne was good. |
