I worked in Zibo my first year in China. It is an armpit of a city. If you want to do anything, you need to take a train to Qingdao and Jinan. The city is dirty and few places to see (culture).
Depending on your needs, it's a place to live and work and not much else. It is very cold for most of the school year and polluted skies everyday. Unless the job is very good, I would give the city a pass. |

^^^ a previous room-mate of mine had the same opinion of Zibo ... he broke his contract and took a job paying almost half his Zibo salary to get out. He said he was ill almost constantly when there and the city didnt have much going for it. |
