I have read through the archive of posts and find that the concensus for someone staying only 6 months seems to be student visa. This seems to offer less hassles for everyone concerned.
Now, do I come in on Visitor Visa and then sign up with a school to have status changed or do i leave my country on student visa? I live in Australia and they are offering student visas if you sign up with Unis at exuberant prices.
How much should i expect to pay for Chinese classes? how long will it take to get my visa status changed in Taiwan? Are there still schools that will give visa without attending class?
I will be living in Jong Li (one hour south of Taipei). |
