Interesting the J Teachers and ALTs having trouble communicating. Are the Japanese teachers who the ALTs assist specifically English teachers?
I get the impression that ALTs arent being used in the right way. Seems that most meaningful communication that goes on between ALTs and J Teachers and students is all done in Japanese.
I quite wanna get myself started on taking the JLPTs though so an ALT job sounds the ticket for that |

| It's not a language barrier, really. The fact is, the two are just so very different in every way. Ideas and training on how to teach the classes or manage the students are at odds. They aren't meant to be working together. |
